City Receives Award For Biomass Efforts

PRINCE GEORGE – The City of Prince George has gotten kudos for its attention to biomass.

At the 3rd annual Biomass North Awards ceremonies in Thunder Bay recently, the City was recognized for its efforts to reduce energy consumption and emissions.

The “Municipal Leadership in the Bioeconomy” award recognizes a community whose biomass initiative has made an outstanding contribution to reducing emissions.
