Kings Looking To Sock Surrey In Drop The Gloves Night

The Christmas season means lots of hockey teams getting into the holiday spirit with different “throw your donations on the ice” nights. Namely, the ever popular Teddy Bear Toss. The Cougars hosted theirs two weekends ago and this Friday, it’s the Spruce Kings turn. The number one team in the BCHL takes on the dead last team in the Surrey Eagles at 7pm. It’s the Kings “Drop the Mitts and Sock It To ‘Em” night, where like the Cougs did this season, they encourage you to bring winter gear donations to chuck on the ice after the first goal. The warm clothes, gloves, toques, and everything else that lands on the Rolling Mix ice will be donated to Saint Vincent De Paul.
