Cougars Goalie Snagged For Top Prospects Game

Cougars goaltender Taylor Gauthier has been named to the annual showcase of the CHL and NHL’s Top Prospects. The Canadian Hockey League announced Thursday that Gauthier will join 39 players from across the country in the Sherwin Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game on January 23rd, 2019 in Red Deer. Other notable Cougars to be named to the contest include goaltender Ty Edmonds in 2014, All-time Career Franchise Points Leader Jansen Harkins in 2015, and most recently, import forward Nikita Popugaev in 2017.
