Logging Truck Fire on Highway 97 South

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: First responders have managed to douse a logging truck fire on Highway 97 South.

The blaze broke out late this afternoon on Highway 97 at Sintich Road.

No word yet on the cause or if anyone was injured.

The fire has closed the highway southbound. Traffic is flowing freely northbound.
