The countdown is on for western Canada’s largest multi-sector resource conference – the 16th Annual BC Natural Resources Forum (BCNRF). This event, scheduled for January 22nd to 24th, 2019 at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, will feature an outstanding program of keynote speakers, plenaries sessions, and networking opportunities focused on innovation in BC’s natural resource sector. Highlights of the program include keynote presentations from Canada’s Natural Resource Minister, Hon. Amarjeet Sohi, Premier John Horgan, LNG Canada CEO, Andy Calitz, and more. This January, hear from a diverse range of speakers offering expert perspectives on innovation in BC’s resource sector. Don’t miss sessions on:

  • Innovation and Technology
  • Unlocking Potential Within Indigenous Communities
  • Mining: Excellence in Innovation
  • Charting Forestry’s Future
  • The Future of Energy – Canada’s Opportunity
  • Transformative Influences in the Resource Sector

The Forum features the popular opening Banquet, topical Keynote Luncheons, the resource Ministers’ Breakfast, multiple exciting networking receptions and workshops, and an impressive line-up of talented, high-profile speakers over three days. For more details on the program, visit: http://www.bcnaturalresourcesforum.com/program/.

The 16th Annual Forum is continuing the proud tradition of attracting the who’s-who from western Canada’s resource sector in Prince George to share ideas, network, and plan the future of resource development in the province. Registration for this stellar event is selling quickly, so be sure to sign up today.

The Forum’s extremely popular, sold out trade show featuring the latest in technology, systems and solutions provides a unique on-site opportunity to connect and interact with a wide range of representatives including: business leaders involved in developing natural resource projects; resource companies active in northern BC; engineering firms, equipment suppliers and service companies; government representatives; and labour, trade and safety professionals.

The BC Natural Resources Forum is a major economic catalyst for Prince George.  Last year’s event generated over $2 million in business expenditures for Prince George and surrounding communities. Local hotels are already booking rooms for the January event, so delegates are advised to make their reservations soon as many hotels sold out early last year.

For the past five years, the Forum’s most popular events, including the Banquet, Minister’s Breakfast, and Keynote Luncheons also sold out early due to limited seating, so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment.  Online registration for the 2019 BC Natural Resources Forum is still available at www.bcnaturalresourcesforum.com.

The BC Natural Resources Forum is proud to support the National Aboriginal Energy and Power Association, the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s annual Mining for Miracles campaign, and Outland Camps’ First Nations Natural Resources Youth Employment Program.
