Giving Back Through Dance

PRINCE GEORGE – A dancer and teacher living in Toronto is giving back to her home community.  Over the holiday break, Ashley Burmaster decided to make Christmas a little brighter for others by holding a fundraising dance class.

Dancers were asked to make a donation which will in turn go to the St Vincent de Paul, with the studio space donated by Enchainement Dance Studio.

“She’s a really talented teacher, a really talented choreographer and a talented performer. This is a way for her to come back and give back in a way that nobody thought of before,” said Judy Russell, Burmasters’ former teacher.

Burmaster also held a fundraising campaign through Facebook asking family and friends to make a donation to the St Vincent de Paul over the holidays, her way of giving back to the city she still calls home.
