Late Snow Doesn't Help BC Cup Cancellation

The snow's certainly falling now, but last week, not so much. The lack of white stuff out at Caledonia Nordic Ski Club actually forced organizers to cancel the BC Cup, which was set for December 28th and 29th in Prince George. Unfortunately, Friday's massive snowfall came just one day before the cup was scheduled to take place, too late after the decision was made before Christmas. The club found themselves a few weeks behind schedule with snowmaking and didn't get much help from the weather. The event has been rescheduled for next weekend in Penticton.
