Seven Arrested From Drug Bust In Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE — RCMP have arrested and charged 7 individuals that are believed to be involved in drug trafficking in that community.

Mounties say the project took place for several months and resulted in multiple arrests, search warrants, and a substantial seizure of cash and cocaine.

The following individuals have been charged with offences under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substance Act: 

  • Janine Emma Alphonse with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance.
  • Nolan Basil Harford with one count of trafficking a controlled substance.
  • Justin Kyle Williams with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance.
  • Tye Christopher Jeff with three counts of trafficking a controlled substance and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
  • Brian Mathew Dorsey with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
  • Brandon Kyle Wijma with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
  • Jeremy William Squires, of Port Coquitlam, with one count of possession of Canadian currency in excess of $5000 knowing the property was obtained as proceeds of crime. 

It was conducted by Williams Lake RCMP General Investigation with help from the Cariboo Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit, Police Dog Services, General Duty Uniform Section and Traffic Services.
