Volume Of Snow, Rain and Melt Makes Street Snow Clearing A Challenge

PRINCE GEORGE – The snow mixed with rain is making residential snow clearing a little more challenging for city snow plows. According to city officials, the extra volume of snow that fell in the past few days and last nights rain has made the snow much heavier and difficult to move. Typically snow clearing crews focus their work on residential areas a day before garbage pick-up days. The city would like to remind residents about parking rules on residential streets after a snow event.
