In six weeks, the 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships get underway in Prince George and already more than 250 volunteers have committed to helping the global tournament go as planned. The competition's volunteer organizer says they are however still searching for volunteers from February 15th to 24th. The search is on for volunteers for biathlon, security, and opening and closing ceremonies. No experience is required for the positions, and anyone interested can visit the websites for both the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships, or the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club. While some of these jobs require day commitments, one offers a neat experience to stay in town.
