Caledonia Nordic Ski Club hosted the 2nd stop for the BC Cup’s Biathlon this weekend. More than 85 competitors strapped on the skis and among them, a Canada Winter Games biathlete. Summerland, BC’s Natalie Benoit continued her biathlon season in Prince George this weekend ahead of February’s Winter Games in Red Deer. The 17-year-old is one of 8 biathletes who will represent BC, with 4 boys and 4 girls on the team. Benoit will find herself in the lowest age group in biathlon at the Games, but with 2 national events already under her belt, these games aren’t set to shake her.
