PRINCE GEORGE – The Cougars maintained their unbeaten 2019 record by shutting out the Tri-City Americans in what was a closely contested game.

The Americans put plenty of rubber towards the net in the first but Cougars goalie Taylor Gauthier kept his team in it, making 13 stops in the first period. The Cougars would find their footing in the second period and Ethan Brown was able to score his sixth goal of the year. Gauthier would continue the strong play in the third helping the Cats to their second straight win.

Next up for the Cougars will be tonight against the Spokane Chiefs in Spokane.
