Brar Commits Ahead Of Second Half Of Season

Spruce Kings leading goal scorer Ben Brar announced his commitment Wednesday to play for the Division 1 Merrimack College Warriors in North Andover, Massachusetts. The King is in his final few months of junior hockey and is relieved to pen his commitment. Brar currently leads the Spruce Kings in goals with 23 and is second in points, with 41 through 40 games. The Abbotsford-boy's junior hockey career began in Penticton before joining the Kings during the 2016-2017 season. He's looking forward to focusing on the rest of the season now, starting this weekend against Cowichan Valley and Chilliwack.
