PRINCE GEORGE – One of The Exploration Place’s most popular exhibits is going to be sticking around for another month.

Terry Fox – Running to the Heart of Canada has drawn over 14000 visitors to the facility, with many people making two or three trips to see the artifacts. The exhibit boasts an impressive collection of the Canadian icon’s belongings and contains everything from Fox’s shoes to his prosthetic leg.

After the exhibits next stop in Calgary expressed concerns about not being able to raise enough funds to host the collection, The Exploration Place postponed its next exhibit and agreed to keep the Canadian legend’s artifacts for an extra month.

Due to multiple inquiries and public interest, The Exploration Place has also extended its hours starting January 22 and will be staying open until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays for the exhibit’s extended run.
