The Prince George Spruce Kings kicked off a three game weekend road trip with a hard fought 3-2 shootout loss against the Penticton Vees last night. The loss was their fifth in six games since the calendar turned to January although they are still second in the mainland division only five points back of Chilliwack. The Kings will look to bounce back tonight in Vernon before they wrap up the road trip Sunday afternoon against West Kelowna.
