Cats Avoid Winter Classic Meltdown, Win In Unofficial Shootout

There aren’t many things more Canadian than tossing on a toque and some skates and taking to the outdoor ice rink for some hockey. It’s even better when it’s a pristine arena created for your regular season game, usually known as a Winter Classic. That’s the treatment the Cariboo Cougars got this weekend, playing host to the Vancouver North East Chiefs in a league first.
