PRINCE GEORGE – Just over a hundred forty athletes are scheduled to compete at the World Para-Nordic Skiing Championship at the Otway Nordic Centre. During the ten-day event, a broadcast team will showcase the athletes and area. Local event organizers see this as an opportunity to insert promotional videos of the Otway Nordic Centre during the broadcast.  Some countries in Europe have a large following of nordic skiing events.  According to Tourism Prince George, that’s great news as many of the tourists that visit Northern BC come from Europe. The World Para-Nordic Skiing Championships is scheduled to start on February 15th and run until the 24th.
