Mining For Miracles Launch Fundraising Campaign in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — A campaign has been launched to raise $3.725 million over the next two years to fund BC Children’s Hospitals Gut4Health program.

Mining for Miracles is behind the campaign which was launched at the B.C. Natural Resources Forum in Prince George today.

The goal of the initiative is to further microbiome research and the development of new therapies with the goal of making BC Children’s the first children’s hospital in Canada to use gut bacteria to predict, prevent and treat infections and chronic inflammation in kids.
