Unite Here Local 40 Plan Rally In Front of the Ramada

PRINCE GEORGE – Several members of the Unite Here Local 40 have a demonstration planned for in front of the Ramada Hotel at 5 p.m. tonight. 

The goal of the rally is to make the public aware that some of the unionized workers at the Ramada haven’t had a contract for over two years. 

According to a union representative, some of the 100 workers at the downtown hotel haven’t had a wage increase in three years and they want a deal done.

Another round of negotiations is scheduled for February 5th.
