PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Public Library says 2018 saw growth when it comes to youth programming.

Last year, 15,164 children and youth participated in free programs and that’s up from just under 14,900 in 2017. The Library says cardholders under the age of 19 borrowed about 4,250 books each week last year. Of those cardholders, 15 percent are 18 years or younger.

The Library releases its youth report every year, ahead of Family Literacy Day, which lands on Sunday the 27th this year.

There will be several different free activities for families this weekend.
