Timberwolves Enter Last Roadtrip Against Tough T-Birds

Quite the task coming up for the UNBC Timberwolves this weekend. More road matchups for the basketball teams tip off Friday night at UBC. The battle with the Thunderbirds follows a 1-3 weekend for the UNBC squads in Alberta, as they worked to deal with nationally ranked U of A Golden Bears, a matchup the mens team survived Saturday night, but the women dropped both to the Pandas. Now, they get the Thunderbirds, who’s men’s team also sits among the top 10 teams in the country, ranked 4th currently at 15-1. The women’s team, they’re pretty good too, 12-4 on the year. It’s ladies first on Friday, they play at 1pm from UBC before the men hit the floor a little later on, 7pm. Then, as always, they do it all again Saturday night.
