Jr. T-Wolves SD 57 Hoops Classic Held Today

The 2nd annual Junior Timberwolves SD 57 Hoops Classic was held today at the Northern Sport Centre.  Students from six inner-city elementary schools took part in the basketball tournament. Anticipation was high for the kids, getting to experience an atmosphere similar to that of a UNBC Timberwolves game. It’s been a successful couple years for the event according to Nav Parmar, who hopes this can become a staple in the community for years to come. And the Spruceland Spartans beat the Quinson Quasars 28 to 16 in the final.
