The Cougars hung in tough against one of the best teams in the WHL last night but lost their ninth game in a row 4-2 in Vancouver. The Cougars battled back from two, one-goal deficits but could not tie the game after a late third-period goal by the Giants.

Cole Moberg and Josh Maser scored the two Cougars goals while Milos Roman had two goals for the Giants with Justin Sourdif and Dylan Plouffe providing the other two goals for the Giants.

The Cougars will have two chances to get revenge on the Giants this week as the two teams will play a back to back Tuesday and Wednesday at the CN Centre.
