Mackenzie economy looks good despite curtailment

MACKENZIE – The community of Mackenzie has a history of mill closures and job losses.
Last month Canfor announced it will be curtailing its mill in Mackenzie for one week in March.
However, the recent news has some members of the community to continue to march forward despite the disappoints of the past.
Cara Bowen is the owner and operator of the Purple Bicycle Natural Foods. Despite the news of jobs losses her business continues to grow slowly.
