PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars lost their 11th straight game last night to the visiting Vancouver Giants, 4-3 in overtime.

The Giants built up a three-goal lead before the Cats battled back to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Vladislav Mikhalchuk, Josh Maser and Reid Perpeluk scored for Prince George.

But the comeback bid fell short when the Giants’ Bowen Byram scored the winner 57 seconds into overtime.

Cougars netminder Taylor Gauthier stopped 26 of 30 shots.

The Cougars will look to snap their losing streak in Kelowna on Friday night.
