PG man continues push to remove Domano FSR gate

PRINCE GEORGE — The struggle continues between City officials and one resident looking to remove the Domano FSR gate and barriers.

The gate and barriers at the Domano FSR caught the eye of Kevin Laarman last summer. The road leads all the way to West Lake, and was a popular spot for ATVs and other off-road vehicles, though the noise had gotten to be enough for some nearby homeowners.

Multiple times Laarman has been denied a chance to speak in front of council, with the most recent request failing this week due to the City saying the content is not appropriate.

A petition has recently been created looking to reach 500 signatures and, once that goal was reached in under two days, it has since been raised to 1,000 signatures.
