Woman in hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE – An investigation continues after a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian happened Saturday afternoon. 

Police say it happened at around 1:45 pm on 5th Avenue near Nicholson Street where a 26-year-old woman and two others were attempting to cross 5th Ave when she was struck. 

The driver stayed on scene and witnesses had stopped to assist. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment where she has non-life threatening injuries. 

Mounties are reminding pedestrians to make sure vehicles stop before they step out into traffic and that drivers be on the lookout for pedestrians at all times.
