Judo Club raises over $4000

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Judo Club has been working hard for the past three months in an effort to raise funds for one of its members.

The Club has raised money through a bottle drive and donation bins at PG Return and Recycling raising money to support their friend and teammate Kyra Edgson. They were able to present Edgson’s mother and sister with a cheque for $4300 dollars. 

The funds will go to helping the Edgson family pay for medication and travel costs. Kyra is expected to remain at BC Children’s Hospital until the fall of this year receiving treatment.
