PRINCE GEORGE – With the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships underway tomorrow, the Organizing Committee is working with schools to get kids out to Otway to partake in some of the events next week.

“Being able to see what these athletes can do, it just transforms people’s minds of what is possible,” explains Kevin Pettersen, Chair of the Organizing Committee. “And for us, to get school children out there is a real educational opportunity.”

He says, in past world events, he says the presence of children has added so much energy to the competition.
