Cold weather doesn’t stop Family Day fans at World Para Nordics

Canada finished the first weekend of play at the World Para Nordics with one gold, two silvers, and a bronze, and was greeted by many home fans ready to cheer them on. Hundreds of fans filed out to Caledonia Nordic Ski Club on Monday, which was Family Day here in Canada to enjoy the international championship on their day off. It was a cold one though, as temperatures of -19 threatened cancellation of the events. The show would go on though, as excitement mounted.
