Wednesday night saw more World Para Nordic Skiing Champions awarded at the evening victory ceremony, including Canadian Mark Arendz. The Prince Edward Island boy earned a bronze in the standing biathlon sprint on Wednesday and was presented with his medal at the Civic Centre. It’s Arendz’s third podium of the championships, after also earning a bronze in the men’s middle distance biathlon and a Silver in the men’s middle distance cross country. You may also notice some familiar faces on the stage, as our own Kendall Robertson and Jesse McGowan were invited to present the various World Champions with their medals Wednesday night, along side Mayor Lyn Hall. Victory ceremonies continue to run at the Civic Centre at 7 o’clock Thursday night, 7 o’clock on Saturday, and 5 on Sunday ahead of the Closing Ceremonies.
