PRINCE GEORGE- The second annual teen art showcase and artist celebration took place this past Saturday at the Prince George Public Library. Over 40 pieces created by teens in Prince George are on display in the library’s Keith Gordon Room for the month of February.

Five teens were awarded 200 dollars in cash from the Prince George Community Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Prince George for five different awards. The Most Original, Social Commentary, Best Use of Materials, Best Overall and People’s Choice. There were some returning artists and new artists that had entered the competition, and the library hopes that is a sign of things to come.
