PRINCE GEORGE - The Spruce Kings kick off the postseason Friday night at 7 p.m. from the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

The second-best team in the BCHL welcomes the Coquitlam Express to town for game one of their seven-game series. The team took six of their eight meetings against the Express this season.

Ben Poisson was not with the team to start last year's playoff run after an injury. He will be in the lineup this time around, which will provide a big lift to the offence. Poisson has tallied 46 points in 53 games this season, making him one of the team's top scorers.

The Kings are right back in action Saturday night, also at 7pm. Games three and four of the series will be played in Coquitlam on Monday and Tuesday.
