Some other great Canadians in town this weekend, how about the Greater Vancouver Canadians. It's hard to believe, last time the BC Minor Midget team was here, they beat the Cariboo Cougars Minor team three nights in a row, all in overtime. The two teams were matched up against one another in the first-round of the Minor midget league playoffs this past weekend at Kin 2, where the Cats managed to exact some revenge against the Canadians. The team pulled out a pair of 5-4 victories over the sixth-seeded Canadians in the minor midget quarterfinals. The team now moves on to play the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds in the Semifinals. Those ones will be played in Abbotsford next weekend as the T-Birds came out as the top-seeded team in the league.
