Ultimate bridge building contest

PRINCE GEORGE- The Central Interior Branch of Engineers & Geoscientists BC hosted the 22nd annual Ultimate Bridge Building Contest at the Pine Centre Mall over the weekend. The event is just one of many across the country that looks to promote a career in Engineering and GeoScience.

The goal was to construct the strongest bridge possible with a maximum of 100 Popsicle sticks and all-purpose white glue.  Winners were determined by a strength test. One goal of the event is to get people involved in the engineering community and showing what engineers have to offer as part of national engineering and geoscience month.
