PRINCE GEORGE — Jack Grinhaus started at Theatre NorthWest during the 20th Anniversary season.

Between then and now, he was responsible for a number of theatre improvements and community-oriented initiatives. Highlights include new high-end seating, an online digital box office system, a newly renovated lobby, and increased public support. He also had three world premieres during his tenure, which concludes at the end of May.

Where he’ll be missed the most, said General Manager Marnie Hamagami, is within the community. Various programs were headed through Grinhaus’ vision, including the Theatre for Young Audiences and Relax Theatre, as well as mentoring local artists in mainstage productions.

Grinhaus is making the change to be with family in Toronto but will continue to pursue arts.
