Local businesses gear up for St. Patrick’s Day fun

PRINCE GEORGE — Several bars are getting set to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this weekend, including the Black Clover downtown.

General Manager Erin Walker says patrons on Sunday will be treated to an Irish-themed menu, including a Guinness Irish Cheddar Mac & Cheese and plenty of swag, including the chance to win a trip for two to Ireland.

The fun doesn’t stop there, with other bars like the Westwood offering live music, featuring bagpipes – and green beer.

Elsewhere the Caledonia Ski Club is teaming up with CrossRoads Brewing and Trench Brewing and Distillery to host “Brewski” – where participants will ski a route and sample beer along the way.

That event is already sold out.
