Meanwhile, just two teams remain in the BC Major Midget League Playoffs. The puck drops Friday on the Finals between the Cariboo Cougars and the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds. Now, the series is in Abbotsford, but the Cats are looking to receive some hometown support.  They posted today about plans to send a fan bus to the BCMML finals in Abbotsford this weekend. The seats cost $100 per person, and they're asking for those interested to book their hotel at the Sandman in Abbotsford. If you are interested in going, you can email [email protected] before Wednesday at noon. They're seeking a minimum of 40 people to make this viable for Northern Spirit Transportation, who has provided the bus. Games go Friday at 7 and Saturday at 3 from MSA Arena in Abbotsford, with a game 3 if necessary set for Sunday at 10:30. It's the team's fifth-straight trip to the finals, with their only win in that time coming in 2017.
