Tractor trailer goes over embankment near Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE — The driver of a tractor trailer was lucky to avoid serious injuries after driving off a steep embankment just north of Williams Lake.

North District Cpl. Madonna Saunderson confirms it happened just before 3 a.m. yesterday (March 26) at Highway 97 North and Commodore Crescent.

She adds the cause of the crash is unknown though the investigation is ongoing.
