New emergency operations centre set for Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE – The Cariboo Regional District is expanding it’s Williams Lake office for a dedicated Emergency Operations Centre. The centre will help the regional district run emergency response efforts more efficiently without affecting day-to-day operations. The CRD also received a 25 thousand dollar grant from the Union of BC Municipalities to support the upgrade.  The renovations are expected to be complete by the summer.
