Two Prince George boys have secured team topping awards in Alaska wearing their Nanooks jersey. Steven and Chris Jandric each ended up receiving some recognition from the University of Alaska Fairbanks hockey team at the conclusion of their NCAA Division 1 season. Left winger Steven Jandric earned the team’s top scorer and MVP awards after he posted 24 points in 36 games. His younger brother Chris was named the team's top freshman. The defenseman notched 15 points in 28 games. The brothers combined for 113 penalty minutes and both made conference all-star teams earlier in March.
