VICTORIA — The Prince George Spruce Kings beat the Victoria Grizzlies 4-2 Monday night to take a 3-0 lead in their third-round series.
Nolan Welsh scored twice while Layton Ahac and Lucas Vanroboys also tickled the twine.
The Spruce Kings outshot the home team 46-29. Prince George will go for the four-game sweep when the teams meet again tonight in Victoria.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
