PRINCE GEORGE – The Kelly Cup is once again kicking off this weekend. The popular men’s bonspiel is Prince George’s largest and longest running curling event and will feature nearly 40 teams from across the province, all with the goal of taking home bragging rights for the year, not to mention the large trophy.

The 92nd Kelly Cup is set to be played in the next few days with teams from all over the province set to compete. There will also be a team from Manning Alberta, Team Knievel, who are related to stunt legend Evel Knievel.

Teams in the event will be competing in six divisions. Division A is the most skilled, and division E is more for fun. Regardless of the division, competitors will need to manage their endurance over the four-day tournament to win.

The Kelly Cup tournament will run from Thursday to Sunday at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club.
