Little Prince in need of engineers

Apr 8, 2019 | 3:18 PM

PRINCE GEORGE- The Little Prince is scheduled to open May long weekend barring any setbacks, but it will not be running as often as in years past due to a lack of engineers. An information session being held tomorrow will hopefully change that.

Little Prince is running low on engineers, in fact, they only have three for this year. This means that the train will run on smaller hours throughout the summer running primarily on regular and long weekends with hours being from 1:00-5:30 p.m.

Chief engineer John Calogheros will be on hand as well as other engineers Frank Vanderlans and Nick Chapman.

The training to becoming an engineer is voluntary and unpaid but once the test is passed, the work is paid.
