DP Todd students heading to Disneyland

PRINCE GEORGE – While most Prince George students are enjoying a day off of school for a Pro-D Day, 60 students from DP Todd headed to classes. Or rather practice. They are members of Susan Klein’s Band class and they are preparing to head to Anaheim, California, where they were be guest performers for the thousands of visitors to the theme park. But that’s not all. They will also be able to perform and record music from Disney movies, coached by a professional Disney studio musician. 

“The end product they get to see their music behind clips of various Disney movies,” says Klein. “So it might be the Lion King, it might be Tangled, it might be Jungle Book.”

In fact, Bare Necessities is one of the songs the students performed in their audition for the trip.
