Beaverly shines bright in Battle of the Books

PRINCE GEORGE — Battle of the Books is an annual competition within School District 57.
Students make up teams of three and read the fiction books up for Red Cedar Awards and answer questions in a ‘Reach for the Top’ quiz show format.
It’s an engaging way to get students reading and, specifically, reading Canadian literature.
Winners get bragging rights and prizes are given out, this year’s first place team is from Beaverly Elementary.
