Cougars boost the United Way

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars Society is giving the United Way a boost with an $18,000 donation.

The funds were raised through the club’s Mega 50/50 Jackpot on March 9th, and with the help Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse and Wood Wheaton GM Supercentre.

A number of non – profit agencies will benefit from the donation,  including Intersect, PG Hospice, Crisis Line, YMCA, Canadian Mental Health, Northern Brain Injury Group/PG Brain Injury, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Carney Hill Neighborhood and the United Way Community Impact Fund.

Over the last four years,  the Prince George Cougars Society has donated over $631,000 to a variety of different charities and community groups.
