PRINCE GEORGE— A third suspect has been arrested in relation to a Prince George targeted shooting on April 5, 2019 that left one man with a single, non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Yesterday (April 23) at approximately 1:30 p.m., frontline officers with the Prince George RCMP conducted a traffic stop of a pick-up truck near the corner of Victoria Street and Strathcona Avenue in Prince George. Officers identified a disguised Kenneth Munroe as a passenger in the pick-up. He was arrested without incident on his outstanding warrant issued as a result of the shooting.  Munroe was then transported to the Detachment, where he was held in custody overnight.  He will appear in court later today.

The Prince George RCMP continue to search for the last remaining suspect of the shooting, 38-year-old Eric Vern West, and say he is considered dangerous and shouldn’t be approached.

“Eric has to be tired of looking over his shoulder” spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says. “He has to be tired of not knowing who to trust and where he should hide next. He should do the right thing and turn himself in to police, because we will continue to actively search for him until he is arrested and taken to court.”
