Cariboo Regional District Area ‘F’ byelection goes Saturday

WILLIAMS LAKE- Cariboo Regional District Area ‘F’ residents will go to the polls Saturday.

The electoral area’s director position came open when Conrad Turcotte, who was elected in the October municipal vote, fell ill and was unable to take his oath of office.

In Saturday’s by-election, voters will choose between Maureen LeBourdais, Brice O’Neill and Shannon Rerie.

Polling stations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the following locations:

Cariboo Regional District (Suite D, 180 North 3rd Ave, Williams Lake)
150 Mile School (3081 Cariboo Hwy 97 S, 150 Mile House)
Horsefly Community Hall (5772 Horsefly Road, Horsefly)
Big Lake Community Hall (4056 Lakeview Road, Big Lake)
Likely School (6163 Keithley Creek Road, Likely)

Advance votes were held on March 20 and 25, with the CRD reporting 32 people taking advantage of the advance opportunities.
