Saturday night RV fire under investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue is investigating after a 30-foot RV was found in flames Saturday (May 7) night, according to a news release Sunday (May 8) morning.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, five fire trucks and 15 firefighters were called to a report of a possible structure fire at 850 Johnson St. There, crews found a 30-foot fifth-wheel fully involved with fire.
“The crew made a quick and efficient attack, putting the fire out and preventing extension into the house or surrounding vehicles,” said Assistant Fire Chief Peter Brbot in the release.
There were no injuries reported in the fire. The damage is about $17,000 and the fire is under investigation.
